Irene Campos
Paralegal Assistant
My name is Irene Campos, and I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. I have always been deeply passionate about helping my community in various ways. I have envisioned myself working to improve the lives of underrepresented individuals and giving a voice to those who don’t have one. As the proud daughter of immigrant parents, I profoundly understand the importance of actively working to ease the stress and fear many live with on a daily basis.
In 2023, I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and I plan to pursue higher education in the coming years. My goal is to be someone our clients can trust and rely on in times of need. As a Latina, I feel privileged to work with our clients on their immigration service needs as a Paralegal Assistant at Valdez Law LLC. You deserve to be heard, supported, and guided every step of the way—and we are here to help.

Beatriz Valdez
ATTORNEY
Beatriz Valdez is a passionate advocate for immigrants and vulnerable populations. As a Latina, Beatriz is grateful for the opportunity to help those in need of immigration services. She hopes to expand her repertoire of legal services soon. Not only did her personal experiences shape her outlook on life, but so did her work experiences. Beatriz became especially passionate about helping families and children after first starting out her career in the child welfare field in Cook County, Illinois (encompassing Chicago and the surrounding suburbs). It was then that she witnessed first hand, how Spanish speaking parents involved in the system were not being provided full access to their attorney’s because of a language barrier. Imagine not being able to call your attorney first hand because of language barrier? It was after these experiences and other injustices she encountered too often that she decided to attend law school to become an attorney. Beatriz strives to provide her client’s with a different type of experience that personally, intimately and ethically addresses their needs. She is fully bilingual in English/Spanish.
Beatriz has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Beatriz later obtained a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Lastly, Beatriz obtained her law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law while working full time and caring for her family. After law school, Beatriz worked for almost two years with an immigration attorney where she primarily assisted with all immigration cases being handled by the firm. She hopes to zealously advocate for her clients while also being a role model to the next generation of advocates.
